The board brings experience in rural healthcare, mental health, organizational leadership, community service, business strategy, nonprofit work, and relationships throughout the River Valley.
Different backgrounds help the Foundation challenge assumptions, protect its purpose, and build programs around the realities of the communities it hopes to serve.

Governance commitments

The Foundation has adopted bylaws and core policies addressing conflicts of interest, confidentiality, whistleblower protection, record retention, financial controls, reimbursement, gift acceptance, and safeguards governing its relationship with Freedom Wings PLLC.
Independent Oversight
Directors and officers owe their duties to the Foundation and its charitable mission.
Separate Finances
Foundation funds and records remain separate from PLLC and personal finances.
Responsible Growth
New programs, partnerships, spending, and professional-service arrangements require appropriate board review.
